This oil painting by Carl Ahrens was shown at the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts exhibtion in 1895 in Toronto. It was described by thenewspaper "Saturday Night" as a small canvas "one of those yellow summer days when grass and tree and sky take on the color of the atmosphere."
